This camp will serve the beginner as well as the advanced youth player in grades 4-8.
Players will be divided into training groups according to skill level and will be taught at a pace that is beneficial for the athlete. Each player will receive great instruction from the coaching staff at CSU, current and previous CSU players, as well as other elite level coaches.
Mighty Ram Youth Camp Cost & Additional Information
The cost of the Mighty Ram Youth Camp is $130. We will be providing three sessions of training a day for two days between the hours of 8:30a.m. and 4:30p.m. This day camp will be for commuters only and lunch will be provided each day. Early check-in and pick-up is okay. A $50 deposit is required to reserve your space, which is non-refundable after June 7th 2010. There is a $25 non-refundable administration fee for any cancellations.
THERE IS LIMITED SPACE, AND CAMP ALWAYS FILLS UP QUICKLY SO REGISTER EARLY!!!
Tentative Itinerary
The camp will be comprised of 6 on court sessions along with some activities and lectures. The early sessions will be devoted to basic skills and as the camp progresses, in later sessions campers will be taught more team concepts. By the end of the camp campers will have had quality instruction by some of the best coaches in the area and will have had a lot of fun!

What to Bring
A pair of shorts, t-shirt, socks, a good pair of court shoes (broken in) and knee pads for each day of camp. We will provide water in the gym everyday, please bring a waterbottle you can use throughout the camp. There will also be one swim time, so bring your suit and a towel. Our camp store will be open every day in Moby Arena. Bring money if you think you would like to buy some Ram Gear!
Meals
Snacks and Lunches will be provided by CSU during the camp. Please be sure to have a healthy breakfast before you come to camp each day so that you will have enough energy to play. Also, please be sure to have something to eat before the first day of camp, as we will only be giving the campers a snack between sessions.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What happens if a camper cannot attend camp?
If a camper cannot attend due to an emergency or for other reasons please let us know immediately. There is a $25 non-refundable administration fee for any cancellation - CSU Athletics will retain the $50 deposit after the deadline date of June 7th. - What happens if a camper is injured or ill?
When a camper requires medical attention during the day, he/she is taken first to our training room, then directly to the Colorado State University Health Center if needed. If hospital care is needed, a member of the camp staff will phone the parents of the camper immediately to advise them of the situation. - How are campers supervised?
Each camp has a staff of coaches and campers are supervised at all times. Camp Directors reserve the right to dismiss any camper for any serious violation of camp rules and regulations. There will be no tuition refund upon voluntary withdrawal or expulsion from the Colorado Sate Volleyball Camp. - What are the rules and regulations of camp?
These will be reviewed on registration day. In general, we expect all campers to be on their best behavior at all times. Any serious camp violation will be cause for immediate dismissal with no refund. - What time should I drop off/pick up my child at camp?
Please check the itinerary for each day's schedule and time for camp to begin and end. We recommend dropping your camper off at least 15 minutes in advance so that they will be ready for the start of camp. Please be prompt in picking up your camper as well.
